I put a live filter between each incoming call and where it would land. Before a
call is allowed through, the caller is checked against a shared spam list, tested
for a geographic mismatch and compared against known behavioral patterns.
A call that fails any check is intercepted and played an automated message, and its
number is added to the shared spam list on the spot. Each attempt makes the system
sharper: once a number is blocked, it is blocked for every client, so a block
triggered on one account protects all the others. A genuine caller goes directly to
the correct destination, the call is logged, and the right people are notified. When
the call finishes, a second stage updates the lead record, removes duplicates,
checks the number against the spam list again and sends prompt follow-ups to both
the lead and the business owner.
